Authorized by the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE)

We are grateful for the help from ODHE, and for both their approval and the support provided during the process.

Our Primary Accrediting Agency will be the Higher Learning Commission (HLC)

Lighthouse College has applied to the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) for institutional accreditation, and is participating in HLC's standard process. We are not accredited by HLC at this time. Details are at: hlcommission.org/Pathways.

Program Specific Organizations

Some of our programs will require specific relationships, certifications, and recognition from other organizations. For example, our Medical Assisting program will not only involve HLC, but also will require accreditation from CAAHEP. Each one of these agencies will be listed in all of our written materials and on our website, as those programs move forward.
